And Then... 01:24
2.
Suspended Animation Society tells me who I am, nowadays. It seems to be the way of man, anyway. I’m sick of saying, I’m sick of thinking it, If there’s something that we want, then we’ll be taking it There’s nothing more that I can do, To make you see. That’s not okay, that’s not okay. That’s not the way, that’s not the way. My mother told me so, My father lets me know, Traditions all that’s left for me. Against all odds, you found the words, To finally call a spade a spade. Sometimes you just can’t see the woods for the trees. Everybody can just put their fingers down, Because I know what the problem is. You can forget about just trying to be yourself, They all just keep telling me, “Conform and be normal like everyone else.” That’s not okay, that’s not okay. That’s not the way, that’s not the way. My father told me so, My mother lets me know, Traditions all that’s left for me. Against all odds, you found the words, To finally call a spade a spade. Sometimes you just can’t see the woods for the trees.

Warm Blooded 03:03
Warm Blooded Would it be relevant, if I said something different? Would it mean anything, or would it fall on deaf ears? It’s not that they’re not listening, it’s just that they refuse, Another pointless argument, wasted on point of view. You’re just a different animal from me and that’s okay, So let’s not bother to waste our time on something we’ll regret. When all is said and done, reciprocate and say: “I’m sorry for those things I said, I hate to cause you pain.” Cos you have seen the worst in me, and didn’t walk away, Like so many others have, I’m glad it’s worked this way. We’re all just floating away. I think I used to have a purpose, I think I used to have a cause, But in the end it all seems worthless, and I am not without my flaws. So if we die, before we wake, I hope my words will Resonate with you.

Sick of You 04:41
Sick of You The first step, on my floor and I’m dead sick of you. Your own words, is all it ever was, and never followed through. You never followed through. I wish I was awake, remember your face. Remember something new, cos I don’t even know your name. I swear I heard noise. There’s something in my room. It can’t have been you. Oh hell, it can’t have been you. I don’t care about your smile. The first step, on my floor and I’m dead sick of you.

Anybody Else 03:15
Anybody Else Yes, I’m afraid of what happened before, So I’ll get in my car, and I’ll lock all my doors. I’m nearing the end of this 3 month breakdown, Am I alone, or just not letting them in? Take me home, Cos I’m far too drunk. This is who I am, it’s who I’ve always been, And you just can’t get enough. Let this one go, let this one go. And I won’t, let this one go, let this one go, Cos I’m losing my mind and I think that I’m starting to choke. I guess that I should take a look at myself. I’ve never been any good, At blaming anybody else.

Virgin Veins 03:25
Virgin Veins I am someone else from who I thought I was, It’s not so clear-cut, and I’m afraid it never is. Instead of being black and white, it’s all just shades of grey, Avoiding definition, between the lines again. And if you do not believe that this could amount to anything, It’s just so hard to see. The pull, the push, the rush. I’ll watch you fall, and waste it all, To wipe the smile from your face. I’ll watch you fall, and waste it all, To put you back in your place. I’ve memorized the words to certain situations, Off by heart, just incase. If it really means that much to you, then why don’t you just say it? I guess that makes us even then. And if you do not believe that this could amount to anything, It’s just so hard to see. The pull, the push, the rush. I’ll watch you fall, and waste it all, To wipe the smile from your face. I’ll watch you fall, and waste it all, To put you back in your place. I’ll watch you fall, And waste it all.

For a Few Seconds, Came Harmony I’m having problems with my day-to-day routine. Been drinking far too much to put myself to sleep. And I don’t see it ending yet, No I don’t see it ending yet. My mother sat me down and told me straight, That I don’t care enough about myself of late. And I don’t see it ending yet, No I don’t see it ending yet. Another reason to loathe me if you like. I can’t go wrong, the end’s in sight. I give it all that I’ve got, To have it thrown back in my face. I drove for what felt like days before getting out and taking the deepest breath of the cool night air... ... and then, for a few seconds, came harmony. No - things won’t change - it’s inevitable. So don’t rearrange your priorities just for me, It’s just another excuse to make. No - things won’t change - I’m not holding my breath, To hear you admit that it’s not good enough again. It’s just another excuse to make. Take me down, far away, Take me down, cos I need somebody. Take me down, far away.
